  • Daniel Mehrmann | Chief Engineer

    A voting member of the Recording Academy, Dan has a Degree in Music Composition and is an Avid Certified Instructor. Dan has studied in France in the “Mix with the Masters” program and won Grand Prize in the John Lennon Songwriting competition with the song “Missed Out” from his band Dropkick the Robot. Dan previously built and ran Jettison Studios and created and directed the Southwest Illinois College Music Technology Program. Dan also engineers and produces live sound for The LustreLights.

  • Robert Scott | Staff Engineer

    A musical Swiss Army knife, Robert has a degree in Music Recording Technology and has recorded and produced numerous local St Louis indie artists in addition to his own prodigious singer-songwriter career and guitar work. Robert is often tasked with helping artists with pre-production and songwriting, taking a song from an idea to a finished work. Robert also produces and engineers for The LustreLights.

  • Roque Winchester Jr | Staff Engineer / Studio Manager

    As a multi-faceted audio engineer and musician, Roque has a degree in Audio Post-Production from the Atlanta Institute of Music. Since graduating, he has worked as a freelance engineer in multiple recording studios in the Atlanta area and is now offering his services here in St. Louis. His primary experience includes vocal recording, hip-hop/rap production, mixing, mastering and audio for film. Roque also works in pro audio sales and is an avid musician.

  • Shawn Evseev | Staff Engineer

    The newest addition to our team, Shawn is a recent honors graduate from Webster University with a Bachelors of Science in Audio Production. Having earned his wings with us as an intern, Shawn is already fully up to speed with the various rooms at Midtown Sound House. In addition to engineering corporate events and church services, Shawn can be found providing audio production at the Missouri History Museum.
